The
Warlpiri Media Association, incorporating BRACS and the PAW Radio
Network operates in 11 communities. However, its operations base
is in Yuendumu, 290kms north-west of Alice Springs in the NT Australia.
The road out to Yuendumu is half bitumen and half dirt. It is often
quite corrugated and during wet periods is only accessible by 4WD
or closed completely. Road reports can be accessed by contacting
Yuendumu Police (08-89564004) or the Department of Transport and
Works in Alice Springs. |
